Corrections & Clarifications

How to request a correction, clarification or review of a CW Earth publication.

Accuracy is a continuing obligation. CW Earth reviews credible correction requests and updates public records when the available evidence requires a change.

What to include

Please identify the page or record, the statement or value in question, the reason it may be inaccurate or incomplete, and the supporting source. A direct link, document title, publication date or official reference number helps the review proceed efficiently.

How requests are assessed

The editorial team checks the original source trail, the proposed evidence, the significance of the issue and whether the publication requires correction, clarification, additional context or no change. Parties named in a record may submit an official response for consideration.

How changes are shown

Minor typographical changes may be corrected without a formal note. Material factual, methodological or interpretive changes should carry an update or correction note stating what changed and when.

Submit a correction

Use the contact page and include “Correction request” in the subject line. Correction requests are considered on their evidence, not on the identity or status of the requester.
