CW Earth works to make the constitutional commitment to environmental protection visible, understandable and accountable. It connects scientific evidence, public records, environmental law, institutional responsibility and affected communities in one public-interest platform.
Why CW Earth exists
A safe, clean and ecologically balanced environment is essential to life, health, livelihood, dignity and the future of every community. Yet the evidence needed to understand environmental harm is often scattered across technical reports, government notices, court records, datasets and scientific publications. CW Earth brings those materials together so the public can see what is known, what the law requires, who is responsible and what action has followed.
Environmental rights
Environmental protection is examined as a constitutional commitment and a matter of public responsibility.
Evidence before assertion
Substantive claims are tied to identifiable records, measurements or published research.
Bangladesh at the centre
The platform begins with Bangladesh while using regional and global evidence where it provides necessary context.
Accountability over time
Public duties, decisions, enforcement, judicial directions and implementation are followed as a continuing record.
Relationship with Constitution Watchdog
CW Earth is a dedicated platform of Constitution Watchdog. It applies Constitution Watchdog’s public-record discipline, independence and accountability mandate to environmental governance, climate risk, biodiversity, pollution and the condition of the Earth.
Who the platform serves
CW Earth is designed for citizens, affected communities, journalists, researchers, lawyers, students, public institutions and decision-makers. It aims to be understandable to a first-time reader and sufficiently traceable for professional use.
What we publish
The platform publishes environmental indicators, datasets, laws and policies, litigation records, accountability records, place profiles, institutional profiles, explainers, briefs and longer research. Publication does not convert an allegation into a finding or a modelled estimate into a measured fact. The character, source, date and limits of evidence remain visible.
